Carl (Jordan Cooper) battles his own attachment to his abuser, as well as his tumultuous relationship with his father (Shelton Jolivette) and mother (Mikala Gibson). Bishop Anderson (Eugene Lee) struggles to hold the family's ties as Carl faces the exposure of his darkest secret.
